On-Ice Volunteers

- On-ice Volunteers must be a “registered” member of a Minor Hockey Association, or a Junior Hockey League, or an on-ice official. This is for insurance purposes.

- While they can assist during practices, they should not partake in any scrimmages with the players.

- They must be at at least one age division higher than the team they are volunteering with.

- They must wear as a minimum a CSA certified helmet, a neck guard, hockey gloves and skates.  Anyone 16 or younger must wear full hockey gear.

- Volunteers who are 16 years of age or older must take Speak Out Program before they are allowed on the ice.
