Evaluation 3.
There will be another round of evaluations for the Atom level. This time it will be a 5 on 5 game but the team sizes will be larger. The reason behind this is to ensure constancy with all the house league divisions and also to ensure due diligence has been done for the evaluation. Following the final evaluation round the teams will then be selected and they will play a series of games over the weekend. These games will be used to validate the balanced team selection method. Following those games some team movement will happen and the teams will be set. This is all going happen within a 3 day period.

Evaluation Weekend:
Thing to know:
Check in / Check out process.
Check In
Please show up well in advance of you scheduled start time.
You will need to check in at the registration desk. When you check in you will be asked to verify your primary email. This email address will be used for communicating your next ice time for Sunday. You will be assigned a pinny for that session only.
Check out
When you leave make sure to hand in your pinny. If you have a question or concern, please bring it to the attention of the volunteers working at the registration desk. They will make sure I get the question or concern you raised.
Evaluation Method:
Each evaluator (6 in total) will give your child an assessment between the ranges of 1-9 based on their ability to execute a given skill while running through a drill designed to challenge their ability to perform that skill. These scores well then be tallied to give an overall score for your child. Based on this assessment we will group the kids, by their average scores, into groups of kids with similar scores. These groups will play a full ice game. The goal will be to identify game skills. The combined hockey and game skill scores will be used to place your child at a specific level.
Saturday Sept 17.
I have received a number of emails regarding the location of the first Evaluation for the A-C group. It is 8am at Beckwith. It has always been at Beckwith and not GRC.
Sunday Sep 18:
You will receive an email from me regarding what time you should come out for Sunday Sept 18. This email will be sent out Saturday night and it will be sent out to the primary email you indicated when you registered with SMHA.

The Conditioning Sessions are now posted with 2 conditioning sessions. A third will be added soon. Each season is grouped by lastname please try to come to only those sessions. Goalies should attend the conditioning sessions in addition to the goalie conditioning sessions.
