A Heartfelt Farewell and Welcome from Scott Phelan, President of Stittsville Minor Hockey

Dear Stittsville Minor Hockey Families,

As I sit down to write this email, I find myself filled with a whirlwind of emotions. After a fun six years serving as your President, the time has come for me to step down from this role. While it's not without a glimmer of sadness that I bid farewell to our beloved association, I am also filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared together.!!!!

First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest thanks to each & every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and passion over the years. Your commitment to Stittsville Minor Hockey has been the driving force behind our success, and I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this vibrant community.!!!

As we prepare to pass the torch to the next leader, I am thrilled to introduce you to our new president, Terry Foley. Terry brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep love for the game of hockey. His dedication to our association makes him a great candidate to lead us into the next chapter. I have every confidence that under Terry's leadership, Stittsville Minor Hockey will continue to thrive and grow, providing our young athletes with the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed both on and off the ice.!!!

While my time as President is coming to an end, please know that my commitment to Stittsville Minor Hockey remains as strong as ever. I am excited to continue supporting our association in any way that I can, and I look forward to seeing each of you around the rink as we cheer on our teams and celebrate the spirit of our hockey community.!!!

In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for making my time as president truly unforgettable. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve this community, and I am excited to see what the future holds for Stittsville Minor Hockey!!!
