Player Transfers

If you have recently moved into the SMHA boundaries (not sure? check here) and your child has played hockey in another association, please follow the transfer process that applies to your situation.

Scenario 1: Player Moves Within the SMHA Boundaries

Required Documents:

  1. Signed HEO Attestation of InterBranch/Association Residency Form
  2. Copy of Purchase and Sale Agreement and/or Lease Agreement (minimum 1‑year lease)
  3. Two of the following proof‑of‑occupancy documents:
    • School registration
    • Utility bill or cable bill (no cell phone) showing the new address
    • Parent’s driver’s license showing the new address
    • Vehicle insurance and registration showing the new address

Please email the registrar at registrar@stittsvilleminorhockey.com with the above documents. Your application will NOT be processed until all documents are received.

Scenario 2: Players Who Live Outside SMHA but Wish to Play in SMHA

Please contact the registrar regarding house transfer requests at registrar@stittsvilleminorhockey.com.

Note: RAMS Competitive teams do not normally accept imported players from other minor hockey associations. Importing players will only be considered in rare cases where there are an insufficient number of SMHA players trying out.

Your application will NOT be processed until all documents are received, completed fully, and submitted to the registrar at registrar@stittsvilleminorhockey.com.
